JUNIOR CONSULTANT

The role: We are seeking to recruit professionals who would like to gain experience in contract and commercial management, scheduling, delay and quantum forensic analysis and project advisory. You will be assisting the team on consulting assignments, and you will participate in the information analysis required for the elaboration of expert witness reports (delay and quantum). You and the team will work to ensure delivery of a quality product within established timeframes. You will be exposed to multiple construction projects from all sectors, infrastructure, energy, maritime, buildings, hospitals, gas & petrol.Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):Assisting with the information analysis for dispute resolution and claims planning matters on multiple projects, including construction cost, scheduling, delay and disruption analysis.Assist the Experts in information gathering and analysis as part of claims teams including lawyers, project personnel and external consultants, to understand and demonstrate the driving causes of delay on construction projects.Assist in reviewing revised project schedules and contract to inform forensic evaluation of Contractor’s cost and delay claims.Assembling and reviewing as-built data by analysing project documentation and assist in the development of an as-built schedule.Assist in the preparation of a written report of findings and recommendations.Key candidate criteria:Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management or other, related discipline.Excellent attention to detail.Familiarity with project controls, scheduling and construction cost management. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.Ability to work to tight deadlines and multiple deadlines.Analytical, investigative, problem-solving approach to work.Bilingual - Spanish/English. Additional language is highly desirable.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability and willingness to learn and adapt.Knowledge on Primavera P6, MS Project and/or similar software. Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
