Junior Data Analyst About the role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in data analysis and a desire to grow their skills in SQL, Power BI, and equivalent technologies.
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work closely with subject matter experts in the team to analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making processes within the company.
Key Responsibilities • Data Collection and Preparation.
Gather data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Clean and preprocess data for analysis.
• Data Analysis.
Use SQL to query databases, analyze data, and generate reports.
Utilize Power BI for deeper insights and visualization.
• Reporting.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaboration.
Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Develop clear and visually appealing data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and related technologies.
Preferred Qualifications • Education.
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Technical Skills • SQL.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Power BI.
Basic knowledge of creating and managing reports and dashboards.
• Excel.
Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Analytical Thinking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication.
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.

A keen interest in data and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
Experience • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, internships, or relevant coursework.
• Exposure to data analysis projects or tools in academic or professional settings is highly desirable.
