JUNIOR DATA SPECIALIST

What will your role look like As a Data Specialist you will support our AI auditing team performing sociotechnical analysis reviewing and analyzing data coding and contributing to the creation of audit reports publications and other auditrelated content.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in AI auditing AI bias and responsible AI.
They will be eager to collaborate with a diverse and motivated team and help shape a more ethical future in technology.
Your key responsibilities.
Participate in building the scientific underpinnings of our groundbreaking tools to measure monitor and mitigate bias in AI.
Implementation of quantitative methods including data collection coding developing metrics and analysis of results Support our audits using both statistical tools and qualitative analysis methods to perform sociotechnical analysis which are applicable in real life.
Collaborate with team members to develop the existing products and create new ones based on the needs of the clients and market demand.
Managing project documentation and communicating with stakeholders and clients.
Stay updated on the latest developments in AI auditing and research to inform project activities.
Requirements Musthave skills.
Fluency in English A degree in a relevant field (social sciences with specialization in quantitative tools statistics data science computer science etc.) Team player with ability to work with autonomy and ownership.
Proficiency in the use of R or analogue coding tools (Python) Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to craft clear and concise documents tailored to clients needs and other stakeholders Interest and experience conducting research in AI/ML social media recommender systems ethical technology or algorithmic auditing.
Solid understanding of statistics and experience using statistical analysis software.
Being passionate about social change and ethics in technology.
And some nicetohaves Experience working in remote and cloudbased environments.
Experience in working in environments suchs Agile Scrum or similar methodologies A lifelong learning attitude.
