JUNIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER (TESTING FOCUS)- REMOTE EUROPE

About this roleWe are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Junior Frontend with Testing focus to join our small, dynamic team.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys taking ownership of their work, and has a "builder" mindset. You will work closely with our team to bring projects to life, quickly adapting to new requirements and seamlessly switching between different tasks and roles. If you have experience working on MVPs and enjoy being involved from the early stages of development, this is the perfect role for you.Key functions and dutiesDevelop and maintain frontend components: Assist in building, styling, and optimizing user interface components using NextJS, Tailwind and Radix.Collaborate on test planning and implementation: Work closely with senior developers to create test plans for new features and improvements.Write and maintain automated tests: Contribute to test suites for frontend applications, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, using tools like Jest, Cypress, or Mocha.Participate in code reviews: Review code with a focus on testability and help identify potential bugs or design flaws before deployment.Debug and troubleshoot issues: Support QA in diagnosing and fixing frontend-related bugs, including replicating and documenting issues for faster resolution.Stay updated on best practices: Keep up with the latest in frontend development and testing best practices, tools, and technologies.We’d be excited to connect if you+1 year of experience with frontend development through internships, freelance work…Proficiency in HTML, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript.Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, NextJS.Basic understanding of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.Exposure to debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) and an understanding of browser compatibility issues.Familiarity with testing principles, including TDD (Test-Driven Development) or BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).Ability to work independently and take initiative.Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other functions.Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may shift.Residency Europe CET +/- 2 hours or willingness to move to Europe without visa assistance.Our Recruitment processOur recruitment process is designed to ensure a great fit for both you and our team.
