JUNIOR OPERATIONS ENGINEER

Our portfolio consists of 40 assets with 2,048 MW of aggregate renewable energy installed generation capacity (of which approximately 72% is solar), 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power generation capacity, 55MWt of district heating capacity, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines and 17.5 M ft3 per day of water desalination.We own and manage operating facilities throughout the North America, South America and EMEA regions. More specifically, in the Kingdom of Spain we have eight solar energy facilities located throughout the country.We are currently seeking for a Junior Operations Engineer to work with and strengthen our Operations team based in Seville’s office.ResponsibilitiesOnline monitoring and daily follow-up of technical performance of the assets.Follow up and analysis of assets key performance indicators.Review of the asset’s operation and maintenance reports.Elaboration of technical reports to Management.Technical support to asset managers.Data analysis to root cause reports.EducationBachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering.Master’s degree in renewable energies is desirable.Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) C1 level is a must.Thermodynamics (energy cycles, Rankine, Brayton, etc.), Photovoltaic energy, and fluid dynamic energies know-how and knowledge.Personal SkillsProblem solving and strong analytical skills.Great communication skills-both oral and written-.Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to do the right thing under pressure and tight deadlines.Proactiveness with the task and solutions.Technical QualificationsExperience of 1 year or more as an operations engineer in the renewable energy sector.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advanced Excel is a must).Proven experience with programming languages (VBA, Phyton, etc.).BenefitsCompetitiveremuneration package.Growth opportunities in a promising and booming industry.A highly committed, dynamic, and challenging environment.Atlantica has a strong commitment to gender equality, active diversity, and social integration in all its stakeholders.
