JUNIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Your day to day.
As IoT is a fast-growing segment in the IT area, Vodafone Group is continuously developing its own IoT Services and Products to target a strategic evolution designed specifically to meet the needs of Global IoT customers.
As a System Integration Engineer– Internet of Things you are responsible for the development of various IoT projects.
You will work with several teams involved in the lifecycle of the products (product, architecture, testing, developer teams) to deliver and integrate quality software products.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business.
Implement system integration solutions for IoT applications, ensuring seamless communication between various components and subsystems.
Work closely with the enterprise architecture, development and product teams to ensure requirements can be realised and delivered within time & budget.
Ensure the effectiveness of deployment for software products, while supporting the CI/CD process.
Evaluate and identify opportunities to apply new technology solutions or ways of working to existing or upcoming products & services and to integration with legacy systems.

Demonstrated industry experience with Software Platforms in Linux, on-premises and cloud.
Good academic knowledge and professional experience in recurrent technologies/tools such as.
Linux/Unix, Scripting, Soap/Rest API, WebLogic, Apache, Oracle DB, etc.
Professional experience with authentication and authorization protocols and technologies (WSO2, JWT, OAuth, MFA, LDAP, SSl/TLS Oracle IAM) Familiar with DevOps methodology mindset, CI/CD best practices and agile principles.
Familiar with microservices architecture Experience with GIT and basic understanding of branching strategies.
