Lead React Developer About the ProjectJoin a forward-thinking team working on a cutting-edge sustainability platform. Our mission is to empower individuals and organizations to reduce their environmental impact through technology, while maintaining a user-first experience.Your RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead React Developer to guide our team in building scalable, high-performance applications. You’ll play a crucial role in making key technical decisions, driving best practices, and mentoring a team of talented developers.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and Design: Lead the design and implementation of our React-based front-end, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.Technical Leadership: Define coding standards, implement best practices (e.g., clean code, design patterns, testing), and set quality benchmarks.Decision-Making: Collaborate with stakeholders to make informed decisions about technology, tools, and architecture.Team Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.Mentorship: Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.Code Reviews: Perform detailed reviews to ensure the codebase meets high standards and aligns with the project's goals.Focus on Sustainability: Help implement features and systems that align with our mission of promoting sustainability and eco-awareness.QualificationsExperience: 5+ years in front-end development with a strong focus on React.js, and 2+ years in a leadership role.Expertise: Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Redux, Context API, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).UI/UX Skills: Experience building responsive and accessible user interfaces.Best Practices: Deep knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library), CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Sustainability Enthusiasm: Passionate about making a positive environmental impact through technology.What We OfferA hybrid work environment with 3 in-office days at our modern location near Atocha Station, Madrid.Competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance and professional development opportunities.The chance to lead a high-impact project in a purpose-driven organization.A collaborative, diverse, and innovative team passionate about sustainability.Ready to join us?If you are passionate about leading high-performing teams and building technology that makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
