Job Description: Lead Software Engineer for VingeGPT - Value Investing Next Generation Company: 36 Square Capital S.L. Location: Malaga, Spain About Us: We are a young Fintech company headquartered in Malaga, Spain founded end of 2022. Our latest project, VingeGPT - Value Investing Next Generation, is a state-of-the-art custom GPT aimed at revolutionizing the value investment landscape.We are seeking a talented and passionate lead software engineer to join our dynamic team in Malaga, Spain. VingeGPT empowers value investors with AI-driven financial insights, simplifying complex analyses to support informed value investing decisions. It enhances investment strategies by providing brand related information, customer and employee sentiment, helps identify undervalued stocks, assess company related financial risks but also support the analyse of long financial reports, to increase the productivity of the value investing community. Position: Lead Software engineerWe are looking for the right person that wants to make a difference with us in the international investing landscape. The person chosen as lead software engineer will grow with us and the VingeGPT project. Key Responsibilities:Enhance the current architecture, ensuring clean, efficient and maintainable code for our VingeGPT investment universe datapoints emcompassing today 1.200 companies, nearly 2M datapoints across many international markets.Enhance the current custom GPT environment built on top of OpenAI ChatGPTPlus, with a strong focus on prompt engineering and configuration/customization of the custom GPT.Active participation in designing, developing and maintaining the future roadmap of VingeGPT. This will include the deployment and maintenance of artificial neural networks for our custom GPT using a combination of OpenAI API, TensorFlow or similar technologies, both locally and on hyperscale paltforms like OpenAI ChatGPT Plus or Anthropic Claude.Develop and maintain web applications, including creating, integrating and maintaining APIs with our custom GPT. Proficiency in handling JSON data structures is essential.Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for our users. Required Competencies:Programming: Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g. PyTorch, transformers, Tensorflow, …).AI and Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with AI, prompt engineering, and large language models. Familiarity with OpenAI ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude LLM and APIs is a definite plus, including techniques to enhance performance, reduce latency, and improve resource utilization.Neural Networks: Proficiency in creating and managing artificial neural networks using TensorFlow, with deployment experience on platforms like Azure, AWS or similar.Web Technologies: Experience with web development frameworks and technologies, including APIs and JSON.Mobile Development: Competence in mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms.Hyperscale : experience with hyperscale cloud providers like Azure or AWS is a mustProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
