Our commitment to clean energy and sustainable development has positioned us as a key player in the industry.📍 Job Location:Madrid, Spain or Germany (remote)💼 Role Description:As a key legal counsel within our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of renewable energy projects in Germany. You will ensure that all legal matters are handled efficiently, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and facilitating smooth project execution. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on Germany’s transition to renewable energy, working closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.📝 Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive legal support to the development team in Germany, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal frameworks.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, PDAs, NDAs, and lease agreements, ensuring they meet regulatory and company standards.Lead the incorporation of new Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and manage their corporate governance, including drafting minutes, preparing secretary's certificates, and filing documents with the Commercial Registry.Serve as the primary point of contact for external legal advisors, landowners, and government bodies to resolve legal matters and ensure project continuity.Conduct thorough legal due diligence for potential new projects, identifying and mitigating legal risks.Manage contract-related information, collaborating closely with the local development team in Germany and the Spanish legal team for seamless integration of legal processes.Stay up-to-date with German renewable energy regulations, real estate law, and market trends to provide strategic legal insights and recommendations.🔑 Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, preferably with a focus on real estate or corporate law.A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally with exposure to real estate and land registry law in Germany.Knowledge of German real estate and land registry laws, with experience in managing SPVs.Dynamic, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.Languages: Native-level German and fluent English are required; Spanish is a plus.🏅 Benefits:Competitive market-compatible salary.Full-time permanent contract.Be part of a mission-driven company focused on sustainability and renewable energy transition.International growth and exposure.Join us in driving the transition to a sustainable future and be part of a dynamic team that is revolutionizing the renewable energy landscape.
