LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT EXPERT

At beonit we work with the largest fashion distribution company in the world, focused on an attentive and active listening, a real-time sales analysis and a production adapted to demand, where people, talent and doing are the priority.We are looking for an LCA Expert specialized in analyzing the environmental sustainability of new innovations with a focus on Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), working in coordination between the internal team and external experts. We are looking for a flexible and decisive person, with a solid technical background and intrinsic motivation for sustainability, innovation, and trend analysis.What will be your mission?To analyze the environmental sustainability of new innovations with a focus on LCA, working in the coordination between the internal team and external experts and participating in the elaboration of the sustainability strategy for innovative materials and processes.The main day-to-day responsibilities will be:- Conduct operational meetings for analysis, cases and decision making.- Coordinate LCA projects with internal and external stakeholders.- Perform critical analysis of incoming documents and reports.- Research and analyze market trends in new technologies on an individual basis.- In the future, attend industry forums, debates, etc.In conclusion, you will coordinate and work on Sustainability analytics.What do we need from you?- At least 4 years of professional experience in Sustainability areas and working in Life Cycle Assessment.- Experience with LCA databases (e.g., Ecoinvent, etc.) and in-depth knowledge of database management.- Familiarity with LCA standards & guidelines.- Familiarity with climate change reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi, etc.)- Experience performing LCA and/or sustainability modelling.- Experience with LCA software (GABI, SimaPro, etc.), Excel skills and maybe programming.- Availability to communicate in English and Spanish.What can we offer you?You will be part of a project in the number one company in the fashion sector worldwide; you will be in a position with development potential, in which new innovative projects will arise; and you will be part of a team committed to innovation and sustainability, made up of committed people with technical power.- Permanent contract.- Location of the headquarters: La Coruña.If you think you are the right person, don't miss this opportunity.beonit is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
