80 working days Our client is seeking a skilled Liferay Developer to provide technical support for various crucial Liferay portals.
This specialised agency of the United Nations is dedicated to rural poverty reduction and improving the lives of poor rural populations in developing countries.
This role involves maintaining and enhancing multiple Liferay portals to support the mission.
Key Responsibilities.
Maintain and provide technical support for various Liferay portals, including CMS and intranet revamp and migration.
Support specific portals such as SSTC, OmniData, and others like disclosure and ICTCAT.
Develop custom CMS solutions based on business analysis requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during development and maintenance.
Your Skills and Experience.
A minimum of 7 years of Java enterprise development experience.
At least 5 years of experience with Liferay Portal modules, including Social Office.
Proficiency with Liferay DXP 7.

, including development, deployment, and administration.
Experience with modern web development (HTML/CSS/SCSS, ES, Bootstrap) and Java ecosystems (Java ).
Strong skills in OSGi, Maven, Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, REST web services, SQL, and Postgres Database.
Basic Linux administration, Docker, Nexus, and Jenkins knowledge.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Desirable.
Liferay and Java certifications.
Background in information architecture, knowledge management, and metadata.
