This role requires a hands-on approach to monitor daily operations, resolve logistical issues, and maintain strong relationships with 3PL partners. Additionally, the Logistics Expert will collaborate with key stakeholders in supply chain, customer service, sales, and marketing to ensure seamless supply chain operations and high standards of customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIESManage 3PL Providers: Oversee and coordinate third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.Monitor Daily Operations: Track and manage daily logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.Resolve Logistical Issues: Identify and resolve any logistical problems that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain.Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with supply chain, customer service, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless operations.Optimize Logistics Processes: Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking, coordinating with supply and demand planning teams as needed.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and maintain accurate documentation.Performance Reporting: Generate and analyze logistics performance reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction by delivering products on time and addressing any delivery-related issues promptly.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience: University Degree or Technical Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent technical education (“Formación Profesional”) in logistics or supply chain management.Professional Studies: Relevant certifications or professional studies in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.Industry Knowledge: Experience in the cosmetics or consumer goods industry is advantageous but not mandatory.SkillsProblem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and resolve logistical issues efficiently.Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with 3PL partners and key stakeholders in supply chain, customer service, sales, and marketing.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to evaluate logistics performance and implement improvements.Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in logistics operations and documentation.Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems and transportation management systems (TMS).Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
