LOGISTICS TECHNICIAN

Depending on the Purchasing Department, the Logistics Technician will be in charge of.
-Reviews production needs and generates purchase orders.
Identifies potential suppliers and issues requests for quotations.
-Analyses and selects suppliers and issues purchase orders; follows up and expedites as necessary.
-Researches and qualifies suppliers.
-Monitors market trends and conditions.
-Performs monthly KPIs and reports to the Head of Purchasing.
-Seek synergies of savings with new suppliers in collaboration with other group factories.
-Implementation of improvements in products and supplies in collaboration with the Engineering Department.
-Stock management.
Minimum Education & Experience -Bachelor's degree (engineering, or related discipline).
Master's degree preferred.
-3-5 years of relevant experience.
Essential Criteria.
- Minimum level B2 English (spoken and written skills) - High level of computer skills (SAGE200 or similar ERP) - Ability to work in a team - Pro-active ability.
- Ability to learn.
- High communication skills (internal and external suppliers).
- Used to working in dynamic environments.
