Immediate Eligibility on Start Date 401(k) with company match Pension plan Medical/Dental/Vision/Prescription Education Reimbursement Job Summary Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the maintaining, troubleshooting, repair, occasional transfer of equipment between facilities and documenting performed work of manufacturing machines, support equipment and site building systems.
¿Es este trabajo para ti? Essential Functions Corrective & Preventative Maintenance.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Daily inspections for facility and production equipment and systems.
Document all maintenance activities and file all records in the CMMS system.
Detect malfunctions, repair, inspect and test machinery / equipment.
for safety or unsafe conditions.
Discuss the machine operation variations with supervisors and operators; diagnose problems and repairs; increase efficiency of machines; bring equipment and environment within SG safety guidelines.
Maintains 5S on tools, spare parts inventory, and work area.
Ensures adequate spare parts inventory; places orders on tools/spare parts as necessary, with manager approval.
Ensure all work orders are closed and follow-up to improve reliability effectiveness Secures facilities and equipment in case of emergency or crisis situation.
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of facility and grounds in regard to safety and compliance whether city, state, federal, or Saint-Gobain requirements.
Perform other duties as directed or required.
