MARKETING MANAGER

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Haier Europe HVAC. The Company is on a journey to achieve ambitious business growth and leadership objectives in the region, and we need someone who is passionate, proactive, self-driven and motivated to join a team of open-minded individuals.We are looking for a Marketing Manager to work within our Haier HVAC Business in Barcelona, this expansion role has been created to support a fast-growing business unit in Spain.What you will do:The marketing manager’s role will be to support the strategic plans of the Spain business by managing a coordinated marketing plan. You will be required to develop a marketing plan (which will include above and below the line activities including digital & exhibitions and customer support functions) and execute to deliver the objectives, by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.The candidate will have two direct reports and will report directly to the European Marketing Manager.Your main missions will be the following:• Develop and implement a marketing plan and strategic activities to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand image and message is achieved throughout all activities;• Budget planning and execution of the marketing calendar;• Drive & report with clear ROI targets and achievements is essential;• Deliver marketing outputs on time and on budget, reporting regularly to the country director and European Marketing Manager• Establish & maintain a high visual standard, attention to detail and ensure a professional brand image/creative is maintained across all marketing assets;• Develop all visual and written content required for offline and online marketing campaigns and events with a creative mindset and ensure it falls within brand guidelines and company direction;• Collaborate with the B2B and B2C teams regularly to ensure accurate planning of key campaigns and events which are in line with the strategy and business objectives;• Maintain excellent control over external suppliers for control over budget, messaging & creatives, where possible keep in-house;• Regularly proposing creative ideas and out of the box thinking;• The role will require some travel from time to timeWhat you need to succeed:Experience:• At least 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, project management or related roles.• Existing management of in-house resource a benefit.• Experienced in the HVAC or Heating industry is preferential but not a must• Experienced in B2B markets• Experienced in delivering high-level events and exhibitions• Experienced in B2B loyalty schemes is ideal• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a creative thinker• Excellent communication and decision-making skills• An exceptional level of attention to detail and organisational skills• The ability to fully commit to projects and events, especially during busy periods where extended travel and hours will be requiredSoft Skills:• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Enthusiastic and resilient• Strong sense of customer focus and accountability with the ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude in a fast-paced, deadline focused environment• An aptitude for learning and creativity• The ability to work independently and cooperatively• A dynamic, thorough and enquiring approach will be required to be involved in and balance the needs of a wide range of projects and executions, with different timelines.• An absolute team player who will fit in as part of a wider, creative team, the ability to collaborate effectively is also a mustLanguages:• Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English• If the candidate can converse in other European languages.
