European International School of Barcelona is looking for a passionate and dedicated Math teacher to join our Secondary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students.Our school community is committed to academic excellence, innovative teaching and inclusive education. EISB is surrounded by the 8.465 hectare Collserola Natural Park, on a 14.000m2 plot with 10.503m2 of constructed spaces for classrooms, laboratories, dining rooms, a library, auditorium, a gymnasium, two swimming pools and a fully-equipped kitchen.Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to students in Secondary (ESO, National Baccalaureate & IB).Develop and implement curriculum in line with school standards and educational best practices.Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support students development and school initiatives.Participate in professional development opportunities and school events.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Two years of previous experience in similar positions.Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is highly desirable.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.English home language.Spanish & Catalan language is desirable.A valid work permit to work in Spain.Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom.Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.We Offer:Committed, multicultural, cohesive and highly consolidated teamFull time job.Permanent position.Competitive salary and benefits (e.g. exceptional food cooked by our own chefs, benefits for teachers' children, possibility to use the sports facilities and swimming pool as well as the school bus).Located in one of the best residential areas of Sant Cugat del Vallès, it is very well connected by public transport.
