Activities include medical affairs tactics, support to scientific communications, publications and clinical studies. Continuous support to activities and deliverables owned by the cross-functional headquarter teams (including Marketing, Patient Access and Community Engagement).Key ResponsibilitiesExecute global medical strategy, including the following deliverables:Build and execute global medical strategy and tactical plans)Manage engagement of global KOLs in the fieldInput to clinical studies in phase 3-4 in PNHSupport scientific communicationFacilitate and support external and internal training and training materialGive scientific input to external and internal scientific publicationsSupport to cross-functional projectsProvide scientific input to the development of material driven by cross-functional teams.To be successful in these activities, the Medical Affairs Lead:Will possess and continue to develop significant level of knowledge on PNHWill build and further develop productive relationships with key external stakeholdersWill develop productive relationships and contributions within the cross-functional headquarter team, as well as with local affiliate offices, and collaborative partnersWill role model the highest scientific and ethical standards, and work in accordance with applicable rules and regulations with regards medical activities activitiesQualificationsExperiences/Competencies>5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (e.g., Medical Affairs)Significant level of knowledge in haematology, experience with pegcetacoplan in PNH preferredExperience and ability to engage with key external stakeholdersProven ability to build and execute strategic and tactical medical plansDemonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate and analyse medical/scientific literatureDemonstrated presentation and communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong intercultural competenciesPersonal attributesCollaborative team player with interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a team setting and interact respectfully with people of different seniority and functional backgroundsResults oriented with a can-do attitudeStrategic thinker who will challenge status quo to improve performanceSense of accountability and ownershipEntrepreneurial, driven and engagedFlexible and able to operate in a quickly changing environmentPrioritization and time management skillsAble to work independentlyHigh medical, scientific and ethical integrityStrong attention to detailAdditional InformationAll Sobi employees need to demonstrate behaviors in line with Sobi's core values: Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership and Partnership.
