We are looking for a talented professional with Medical Writing, Scientific writing skills, who can work on developing medical and promotional content for the brands. This role will be working directly with one of our major pharmaceutical clients. The focus of the role will be to create scientific content (both branded and above-the-brand), following regulatory compliance standards.Medical WriterJob Description:The roles and responsibilities of a Medical Writer include the following:Ensure compliance to local legislation and regulations including internal policies, ensuring that content development & activities are supported by authentic and up-to-date references.Develop and update content (in Spanish and English) for various assets pertaining marketing, medical affairs, training and other departments, across print and digital channels (materials including emails, iDetailings, slide decks, website content, leaflets, required assistance to advisory boards, congress content, scientific posters, among others).materials, emails, sales rep materials, social media content and website content).Develop and review assets assembled by the local team from a medical accuracy standpoint including referencing and language expertise, with the quality requirements as per client satisfaction metrics, within assigned timelines and with guidance from the managerCreate promotional materials from scratch with more assertive and direct claims and messagesWork in partnership with the graphic design team (on the needs for copy and content), with the brand and production teams on briefs, workshops and project deliveries.Ensuring tasks are performed as per assigned processes, guidelines, and SOPs with the help of tools and platforms specified by the clients and the managerFollow best practices in the department regarding processes, communication (internal and external), project management, documentation and technical requirements such as language, grammar, stylization, content search, summarizing, data conflicts, and referencingParticipating in assigned training programs and working on assignments as per requirement.Participating in client calls as per project requirementsBeing compliant to quality, confidentiality, and security; adhering to and following quality systems, processes, and policies; and being compliant to training and specificationsProactive in using AI tools.Must Have:Based in Madrid with a permission to work in the country.Education—M Pharm/BDS/MDS/PhD Preferable: +5 years of experience of medical writing for pharmaceutical companies, but lesser can be considered for a good, competent candidate.Specialist in the field of Oncology, with an overall understanding of the medical field.Strong flair and passion for writingStrong written and verbal communication/presentation skillsPassion for networking and stakeholder engagement.Being up to date with the latest technical/scientific developments and relating them to various projectsClient-oriented attitude with focus on creating strong long-term relationships with clients and encouraging others to work toward this goalAbility to assure timely completion of assignmentsSkilled in problem identification and problem solvingDetail oriented, well organized and timeline driven with the ability to multitask.Experience working within a big multi-national company in a matrix environment.Candidate must reside in the Madrid as this would be a work from home and office hybrid positionShould be proficient with English and Spanish.EQUAL OPPORTUNITYIndegene is proud to be an Equal Employment Employer and is committed to the culture of Inclusion and Diversity.
