MOTION DESIGN LEAD - RPG GAMES

Description Scopely is looking for a highly motivated Motion Design Lead to join our Marketing team Flamed in Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis.

We build thousands of creatives every year to support all Scopely games Marketing needs worldwide.
You will work on variety of IPs in our RPG portfolio, including Marvel Strike Force and a n unreleased game for another big IP What you will do.
This position entails a mix of management and execution of tasks, reporting directly to the Creative Director and working closely with the creative team, Brand Manager, and UA team.
s Motion Design Lead, you will manage a team of motion designers and capture artists.
Your leadership skills and experience in the field will be essential for inspiring, coaching, and collaborating with cross-disciplined groups while maintaining a positive team environment.
You must be able to see the bigger picture and utilize your team's skill sets to bring an idea to life, creating Marketing video ads backed up by your strong marketing instincts & careful analysis of metrics.
Create top video ads required for Marketing with deep attention to detail in a constructive cross-feedback environment.
Also be able to animate any type of asset to be integrated with other video components (live actions or 3D animation).
Work in collaboration with the Creative team, Creative Lead, Creative Director, Project Managers and Brand Managers to create top content for User Acquisition, Social Media, ASO and for branding purposes.
Mentor, direct, and supervise a dedicated Creative team of motion designers and capture artists.
Lead and join brainstorming sessions, elaborate detailed briefs, and generate ideas through sketching or creating storyboards/animatics before moving into production.
Support the team with benchmarking and understand very well advertising in gaming and other entertainment fields to inspire the team.
Use Digital Performance Marketing insights and creative benchmarks to iterate on existing ads and continuously improve their quality and results.
Support on creating localized videos to approach different global strategic markets and cultures.
Manage and provide feedback to any vendors that we bring on to support the team during busy times of the year.
Manage and update assets in our libraries and focus on building a strong library to support the rest of the team and at the same time, support on develop visual branding guidelines to be shared with vendors, partners, and our PR agencies Attend meetings with other stakeholders and feel confident in communicating your thoughts and ideas.
What you will need.
Minimum of 6 years of experience as Motion Designer, preferably in gaming or advertising.
An excellent video reel that demonstrates a wide-range of solid motion design work and animation skills.
This will be mandatory to be considered for this position.
Proficient in the standard tools of the trade.
After Effects, Cinema 4D, Unreal, Photoshop, etc.
A great eye for color, composition and animation.
Ability to drive an idea from conception to completion.
Strong creative skills and strong capacity to adapt to the needs of the team.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Experience on pitching your own ideas fluently and with confidence.
Experience on providing creative direction and share feedback to teams A team player mindset.
You will need to be able to work effectively both on your own and as part of a larger group, and be able to provide creative direction and share feedback with the team.
Passionate of RPG games and popular IPs like Marvel.
Good knowledge of social trends in social media, like facebook, instagram and tiktok Nice to have.
Additional knowledge of Character Animation, Maya, Unity, and / or illustration.
Experience as a graphic designer for still frames Experience in creating User Acquisition ads and social media content.
Copywriting skills Please include a portfolio, Reel or PDF/links to examples of your work in the application.
