NETBACKUP SPECIALIST

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Veritas NetBackup, NetApp, Dell PPDM/Data Domain, and Cohesity. Mandatory Requirements: Basic knowledge of NetBackup along with DD storage devices and NetApp, Dell Data Domain, and Cohesity products. Experience in configuring and administering NetBackup servers and components. Knowledge of backup and restore procedures for various types, including file systems, databases, VMs, bare metal, etc. Ability to manage disaster recovery and restoration of NetBackup environments. Familiarity with ITIL processes/procedures. Strong documentation and presentation skills. Excellent learning and analytical skills. Ability to manage operations with minimal supervision. Intermediate level of English Key Responsibilities: Install, manage, configure, administer, and maintain Cohesity, NetApp, Dell Data Domain, and Veritas NetBackup systems. Perform system tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance. Conduct daily maintenance and provide 24x7 support, including on-call rotation. Proactively improve procedures and system performance. Configure and build NetBackup servers and components. Perform backup and restore for physical servers, VMs, and databases. Execute disaster recovery and restoration of NetBackup environments. Utilize automation and scripting as needed. Troubleshoot NetBackup issues and demonstrate knowledge of ITIL processes. Quickly acquire technical knowledge and provide technical support. Manage operations with minimal assistance and support backup/recovery software platforms. What your daily routine will look like: You'll have a 40-hour weekly contract, Monday through Friday. The project you'll be working on has a rotating shift applicable to the entire team, with three shifts that rotate weekly between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Additionally, there will be rotating shifts with the rest of the team.
