We are making significant strategic investments that will not only decrease our own environmental footprint, but also help customers adapt to long-term environmental and social change through the development of cleaner, greener solutions.Arxada is looking for a Paralegal 80% located in Barcelona supporting our EMEA legal team.You provide legal, project and high-level administrative support to the Arxada EMEA legal team. You work with internal and external clients to help fulfill requests. You seek ways to improve processes, solve problems and help the team work more effectively.Key responsibilities:Provide support to internal clients in review of completed template agreements, including sales agreements, consulting agreements and confidentiality agreements under attorney supervision.Prepare amendments and other contract correspondence and documents under attorney supervision.Manage contract approval process and assist in the execution of completed contracts.Maintain corporate housekeeping records, including the Global Entity Management System (GEMS), handling correspondence, clarifications, delegation and supervision of needed signatures, director changes, etc. Liaise with service providers to keep the contract data bases up to date.Manage document signature logistics, liaise with relevant executives.Obtaining timely certification/notarization of documents.Perform legal research and other paralegal duties and assist in special projects under the supervision of attorneys.Support administrative needs of the department such as invoice processing, expense reporting and other requests as needed.Manage contract filing and administration.Key requirements:Bachelor of Law (B Law) and/or qualification as Paralegal or similar equivalent education required.Experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or in a similar position in an international corporation or law firm, ideally with a certified education in paralegal practice is a plus.Proficiency on standard software (Microsoft Office, MS Teams). Experience with legal department software (SAP, Contract Insight, Lawgeex) preferred.Excellent proficiency in English. German is a plus.Excellent drafting and communication skills.Ability to work with and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, including Senior Management.Solution-oriented and strongly team-minded.
