OW a controlled 50/50 joint venture between EDP and Engie is looking for a proactive and team player People Business Partner.Are you willing to join a passionate and high performing team, in a cross-cultural, fast-paced, and strongly grOWing environment?At OW we are looking for the position of People Business Partner (People BP) for Portugal, Brazil and new geographies. This position will be responsible for the Human Resources processes in the mentioned geographies. In addition, this person will dedicate part of their time to participate in transversal projects of the different areas of Human Resources, giving support in their definition, development and implementation. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES50% People Business Partner for Portugal, Brazil and new geographiesThis position is responsible for being the point of contact between employees and Human Resources, performing functions such as:Lead recruitment process, coordinate new hires’ approvals with the managers, screening resumes, setting up interviews, and follow-up with candidates.Ensure new hires are integrated into our organization, guaranteeing proper onboarding.Validate payroll and ensure the correct processing of Human Resource information: communicate new hires and terminations, leaves of absence, employee data changes, salary adjustments, promotions, transfers and other department and supervisor changes.Analyze benefits and best practices at a local level and serve as a resource to employees for benefits/policy questions as well as for other HR issues. Follow-up on transversal corporative processes (performance and potential appraisal, learning plan, etc…).Budget control.Realization of exit interviews.Provide assistance and guidance to Country Managers and line management on a broad and local range of HR policies, programs and practices.Coordinate labor relations within the country and manage labor conflicts. Manage all key compliance reporting and act as team contact for internal/external audits.50% Transversal Project SupportThis position will participate in People's various strategic projects, performing functions such as:Support in global projects in different areas: development, training, organization, compensation...Depending on the project, they may be involved in all of its phases: design, development and implementation.Support in the management of the different stakeholders of the project.ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDDegree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE3-4 years of experience as a generalist.KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLSAttention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Customer service, professional demeanour, and team-member disposition.Able to work independently on multiple priorities while maintaining flexibility to changing and expanding job duties or assignments.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets).Sensitive to business needs, employee goodwill, and public image. High level of interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills.Ability to handle highly confidential information.LANGUAGESExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese, proficient in Spanish.OTHER REQUIREMENTSBased in Madrid.
