With more than 15 years in the industry, our software is a cutting-edge technology solution.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Team Lead full of energy and with entrepreneur soul!This is a full-time remote role for a PHP Developer Team Lead. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented PHP developers and overseeing the day-to-day tasks associated with software development and web applications. The team consists of four back-end developers, two front-end developers, designers, testers, and in coordination with the company founders. You will also be involved in code review, APIs strategy and implementation and programming tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of software projects, ensuring high quality, reliability, and scalability.Lead closely with the team to design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions.Take ownership of complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.Work closely with the direction team to align technical strategies with the company's objectives.Implement project management tools to streamline project planning, execution, and monitoring.Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.Ensure that software development follows best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Participate in product meetings and demos with potential customersRequirementsProficiency in English is mandatory for effective communication within our international team.Expertise in CakePHP framework or similar (+10 years).Strong organizational and project management skills.A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development.Proven experience in leading software development projects.Proven experience in leading IT teams.Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Knowledge of best practices in software development, including design patterns, code reviews, and testing.Knowledge of API implementations.A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications (between 45K and 60K eur).The opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects in the insurtech industry.Possible long term stock options agreement.Full-time remote position.Collaboration with a diverse, international and talented team of professionals.A dynamic and innovative work environment.Direct interaction with the company founders and strategic decision-making.How to ApplyIf you are a motivated PHP Developer Senior Team Lead with a passion for insurtech and meet the requirements outlined above, we invite you to join us directly through linkedin or at hr@qbind.eu.
