The project aims to develop a new framework for the analysis and interpretation of animal behavior and electrophysiological data (https://www.
rontiersin.
rg/articles//fnbeh./full).
Such analysis of the data will involve different models that will be based on reinforcement learning, stochastic decision processes, and history-dependent biases of a large range of time scales from seconds to months.
Our lab is part of a larger interacting network of computational/cognitive/systems neuroscience labs in Spain (http://www.
arccsyn.
rg), and also the novel center in Madrid called CINC (https://www.
inc.
sic.
s/research-areas/), where top scientists such as Liset M de la Prida, Alfonso Renart, Gonzalo Polavieja, and Juan Alvaro-Gallego are moving there.
Candidates should have a Ph.

in computational neuroscience or a related field.
Prior experience with the analysis of animal behavior, neuroimaging, machine learning, and/or computational modeling will be valued.
Financial support is provided by the Spanish Ministry of Science.
