IRB Barcelona seeks to recruit A highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher from the national and international community to join the Innate Immune Biology group of Dr.

We aim to recruit experienced wet-lab biologist who YS curiosity-driven and responsible team players that are leading their research together with the PI.
S/he will work on projects to understand the role of the innate immune system and their immunometabolism in homeostasis and during aging, which will be defined together with the successful candidates, based on his/her interests.

The positions are financed by the ERC Starting Grant project “Studying the metabolism and function of myeloid dendritic cells and neutrophils in distinct tissues in health and aging (MyTissue)”.
DUTIES.
- Lead and organize projects within the group’s scientific scope with the PI.
- Conduct high quality research in collaboration with other team members.
- Participate and report results in group meetings and scientific discussions.
- Engage in training of junior scientist of the research group.
- Write manuscripts together with the PI.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS.
Must Have – Required.
Experience.
PhD in biomedicine or biosciences.
Performing and disseminating of scientific studies.
Knowledge.
highly motivated and collaborative, with enthusiasm to lead conceptually and technically challenging research projects.

Research on innate immune cells, aging and/or immunometabolism.
Supervision of students or technicians.

Mass and Flow Cytometry and sorting, Mouse models, Primary human tissue and cell culture, Bioinformatics tools for analysis of gene expression, Multiplex immunohistochemistry, Molecular biology techniques including cloning and CRISPR.

Employed in compliance with Spanish legislation and regulations under a full-time contract.
