We believe in the power of simplicity and convenience, and with this, we have set new standards for online insurance.Position Mission:As a Pricing Actuary at Allianz Direct, you will be responsible for designing, developing, validating, and tracking pricing analytical models, integrated within the Product, Pricing, Underwriting, and Business Analytics unit.You will also perform pricing analysis and technical performance steering for various business objectives, interacting with all areas of the company, handling large data sets, and ensuring a continuous sophistication of pricing and data analysis techniques, to establish and maintain an industry leading pricing practice will also be part of your responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Develop pricing models for new business and portfolio – risk, demand, elasticity, market premiums, price optimization, lifetime value, etc.Model implementation and deployment into production.Data • Data prep and monitor the quality of information from different models. • Identify new needs and data sources, both internal and external. • Continuously develop new variables for evaluation and inclusion in the models. • Automate and industrialize data pipelines.Innovate constantly in the technical excellence space, aiming to be the benchmark for best practices in the insurance industry and comply with Allianz Group’s methodological standards.Perform pricing analysis to assist in business decision-making, financial planning, and strategic development. Present results efficiently to stakeholders.Track business metrics, KPIs, and model efficiency. • Develop business monitoring tools: defining KPIs, analyzing expected and actual impacts of changes in pricing, underwriting, data, etc. • Ensure tracking, governance, and monitoring of model efficiency. • Define requirements and needs for the evolution of all functionalities related to data, pricing, and underwriting within Allianz Direct’s technology platform.Skills for the Position:Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, and/or Actuarial Science.Advanced programming knowledge: R/Python and SQL, with experience in control version systems like Git.Ideally familiar with non-life insurance pricing software (Radar/Earnix/Akur 8/Quantee).Visualization and business intelligence fundamentals, including experience with some of the BI tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)Professional proficiency in English.Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.
