PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL CLIENT ADVISOR

Position Title: Principal Technical Client Advisor Location: Madrid - hybrid working patternRole Purpose: As a Principal Technical Client Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our cybersecurity professional services, consultancy, and assessments. We are seeking an experienced professional to work closely with key strategic customers, focusing on understanding client challenges, aligning our portfolio of cybersecurity services, and enhancing our clients' cybersecurity maturity.Reporting to the Senior Vice-President, Field Strategy, this opportunity is ideal for an individual with a strong background in security-testing delivery or an existing sales professional with a comprehensive understanding of broader security services. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Summary:Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor and main point of contact.Understand clients' objectives, challenges, and pain points to provide customized solutions and services.Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients.Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and support, to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve client issues in a timely manner.Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitors' offerings to effectively advise clients and maintain a competitive edge.Prepare and present reports, demonstrations, workshops, and insights to clients to demonstrate value and drive engagement.Act as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, advocating for client needs and requirements within the organization.Present the entire NCC Group services portfolio and value prop to prospects and customers that drive complex, multi-phased engagements.Present thought leadership in the market on various technical topics that align with the NCC Group mission.Gather and communicate comprehensive scope requirements to customers through various channels.Speak and present at customer round tables and build a team capable of similar function.What we are looking for in you:Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a services industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing client needs and challenges.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with a focus on achieving collective goals.Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business requirements.A positive attitude, resilience, and a passion for exceeding client expectations.KnowledgeIn-depth technical security knowledge, including network architecture, IT infrastructure, applications, and systems, with an understanding of cloud services such as Azure and AWS.Strong expertise in cybersecurity penetration testing methodologies, outcomes, and impact.Demonstrable knowledge of network and/or application security.Experience integrating cybersecurity solutions.Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or The Critical Security Controls for Effective Cyber Defence.Broad understanding of compliance requirements and their relation to cybersecurity business practices.TravelExpected travel is regional, 50% of the time.
