You will be responsible for creating high-quality, visually compelling prototypes and products that showcase our cutting-edge VLM ecosystem. This role encompasses the entire spectrum of design, from non-functional early-stage mock-ups to fully functional, polished products. Your work will be integral to our mission of producing end-use parts at scale and cost, with a strong focus on UI and UX for industrial manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the engineering team to understand prototype designs and translate them into aesthetically pleasing, market-ready products.Develop detailed designs and ensure prototypes and final products meet marketing and functional requirements.Create visualizations and prototypes that accurately represent the final product, emphasizing a seamless UI and UX.Produce high-quality product design renderings for use in marketing materials and presentations.Study and analyze current interactions with VLM equipment to enhance UI and UX in future iterations.Work closely with the marketing team to align designs with brand and promotional strategies.Manage vendor relationships to source materials and components needed for manufacturing prototypes and products.Iterate on designs based on feedback from engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders.Maintain comprehensive documentation of the design process and updates.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to create visually stunning and realistic mock-ups.Proficiency in CAD and 3D visualization tools.Strong understanding of aesthetics, color theory, and material usage.Proven experience in product design rendering and the creation of high-quality visual representations.Experience in creating mock-ups that accurately represent the final product's appearance.Experience in vendor management for sourcing and manufacturing mock-up components.Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for design.Effective communication skills and fluency in English.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.About YouThe right candidate should be proactive and ambitious.
