About the role: PROJECT DEVELOPER PV & STORAGEBased in Madrid / RemoteMultinational IPP Renewable Energy companyMission: Support the strategic development, growth, and sustainability of the renewable energy portfolio within Spain.Responsible for overseeing all aspects of solar energy and storage project development, include managing interconnection processes, obtaining building permits, and negotiating property tax agreements, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.Responsibilities:Identify new project opportunities in PV solar and energy storage. Evaluate potential project sites based on technical, economic, and regulatory criteria.Lead the process of land acquisition including negotiations with landowners, securing land leases, and obtaining necessary rights of way.Manage the permitting process & approvals including liaising with local, regional, and national authorities to secure the required permits and approvals for project development.Oversee the development of feasibility studies and technical assessmentsCollaborate with external engineering teams to develop project designs and technical specifications.Support financial modeling efforts to assess project profitability and risks. Assist in the preparation of business cases and investment proposals.Conducts the following Internal reviews of projects for potential acquisition.Maintain relationships with local partners, contractors, advisors, institutions, offtakers, and stakeholders.Skills required (M/F/D):Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project development within the renewable energy sector, specifically in solar PV and/or energy storage.Proven track record of successful project delivery from concept to construction.In-depth knowledge of the Spanish renewable energy market, including regulatory and permitting processes.Regulatory knowledge, negotiation, leadership, communication skills.Language: Spanish/English high level.
