Overall Objective and Purpose The Casino Systems Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of a product or service project for a client, from inception to installation.
Installations may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, system integration or consulting projects/engagements.
The successful candidate will lead a variety of different types of projects including launching new products and services, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.
Responsibility for other business processes and applications may change as business conditions warrant.
Responsibilities •    Will be working remotely and at client sites.
Travel is mandatory.
•    Involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, services consultants, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams.
•    Projects are focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products for the improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology.
•    Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests.
•    Oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities •    Work with business partners to document and evaluate the “as-is” processes and to determine the “to be “business processes.
•    May be required to configure and teach IGT proprietary software applications to customers.
•    Coordinate documentation requirements for conversions, upgrades, interfaces, business logic, reports, forms and workflow.
•    May be required to run internal meetings including stakeholders from a wide array of business partners.
Qualifications Required Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
3+ years project management experience managing information technology (IT) based projects.
Must have knowledge of, networked systems, project management, inventory management, MS Suite including MS Project, organizational and analytical skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Group meeting facilitation skills.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in collecting, documenting, assimilating, estimating and prioritizing requirements with business input.
Demonstrated experience managing and delivering multiple projects (sometimes concurrently) involving cross functional teams.
Familiarity with SAP or PMI's project management methodology.
Preferred Qualifications PMP desired but not essential Gaming operations experience preferred Ideally has knowledge of gaming industry, gaming regulations, casino operations and or slot technical ability Operational knowledge of standalone networked and wireless gaming devices.
Exposure to SAP Project Systems good-to-have.
Exposure to PPM good-to-have.
