QC COORDINATOR (MECHANICAL/ PIPING/ MATERIALS)

We are looking for a Quality Control Coordinator have the responsibility of managing all inspection activities related to the POs assigned to him.
He reports to Procurement QC Manager (Project) and to the Head of Inspection Department (Corporate).
Key Tasks and Responsibilities.
Review of Project Specifications (Manufacturing, quality Control).
Detection of Quality Control requirements to be included in the Purchase Orders (POs).
Internal review of Quality Control requirements included in the POs before its issuance to the Vendors.
Review and comment Vendor manufacturing documents of the assigned Purchase Orders (e.
.
Reactors, Columns, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Fired Heaters, Reformers, Package Units, Piping Material, Instruments, etc.).
Main documents are.
Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Manufacturing Purchase Specification, Test Procedures, Visual/Dimensional Control Procedure, Final Quality Dossier, etc.
Plan, coordinate and schedule workshop inspection visits with all Inspection Representatives (Vendor, TR, Client).
To lead the Pre-Inspection Meetings for the applicable POs.
To request (internally and to external Inspection Agencies) and select adequate inspectors to cover all related inspection activities according to the applicable ITPs.
Handling of Notice of Inspections (NOIs) with all involved parties (Vendor, TR, Client) To attend to critical Inspection Visits when needed Review, control and distribution of Inspection Reports Managing of NCRs with Vendor and Client Participate in meetings with the rest of Project Areas and Disciplines (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) as needed.
Team working with Technical Departments and with the rest of the Project Inspection Team.
To deal with Client Inspection Representatives, attending meetings with them when necessary.
To have a fluent communication with Vendors in order to assure that Vendor understand all comments and Project requirements, with the aim to achieve a smooth manufacturing process.
Essential Qualifications and Education.
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or Equivalent.
5+ years’ experience in quality control of manufacturing of static equipment, package units, valves and piping components.
Experience in producing/reviewing manufacturing and quality documents.
Knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, NACE Codes.
Experienced in most used materials in Oil & Gas industry (Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Austenitic Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Ni Alloys, etc.) Knowledge on NDTs (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET) Fluent English written and spoken (B2-C1 Preferred Qualifications and Education.
International Welding Engineer / Certified Welding Inspector (CWI/CSWIP) BGAS/NACE/FROSIO Painting and Coating Qualification API Certifications (, SIFE, SIRE) Skills Effective communicator Problem solving Self-organized Time management Team working Professional Ethics Project/Area/Regional Specifics.
