Quality Assurance Engineer (Hybrid option) Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient.
As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll be tasked with designing and implementing QA practices covering strategy, automation and execution, non-functional testing, and contributing to making the solution end-to-end successful as part of a DevOps team.
What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.
About the team Within the Security Team, the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is responsible for providing secure and efficient access to Swiss Re's IT resources and applications.
We manage the identity lifecycle, authentication, authorization and auditing processes.
We also develop and maintain the IAM tools and platforms that support the business needs and security requirements.
We are looking for a senior QA engineer who will join the IAM team and contribute to the quality assurance of our IT services and components.
You will design and execute functional and non-functional tests, identify and report defects, and collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders.
You will also help to define and improve the testing standards, methodologies and best practices.
You will have the opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects in the IAM domain.

In your role, you will...
• Implement quality assurance measures throughout the complete DevOps life cycle • Implement test automation • Plan and lead E2E testing • Test specific component against requirements such as performance, load, reliability, and availability • Collaborate with our DevOps & Reliability Center of Excellence • Contribute to the further development of our service and system health monitoring Your qualifications What we need from you o Passion, drive and a belief in the value of QA to make solutions end-to-end successful o 5+ years of relevant work experience o Technical experience & senior-level skills in software testing and test automation o Solid experience in automated testing of modern web applications and REST APIs o Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way everyday o Good communication skills in spoken and written English Nice-to-have o Experience with complex projects and/or large organisations o Experience in testing integrations to diverse external systems o Proficiency in system engineering or administration, networking, IT infrastructure o Experience with agile projects and DevOps o Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) o A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a comparable field About Swiss Re Swiss Re is one of the world's leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient.
