R&D TECHNICAL LEAD (DATA SCIENCE & IA) | UP TO 75K | HYBRID (BARCELONA ONLY)

👀 We are looking for an R&D Technical Lead specialized in DATA Science & AI. Your mission will be to be the technical leader responsible for driving the creation of an R&D Lab in one of the leading consulting firms; as well as in the identification, creation and management of new innovation projects.You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to define the technological vision, lead strategic initiatives and ensure technical excellence in our projects.🖖 Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: define the Lab's technological and strategic development vision, with a specific focus on Data Science & AI. Establish standards and best practices for the design, development and implementation of data-driven solutions.Project and Team Management: Oversee the execution of projects, from conception, requirement analysis and design to delivery, ensuring technical quality and compliance with deadlines. Lead and motivate multidisciplinary technical teams to achieve project objectives.Technological Development: Keep up to date with trends and advances in DATA technologies, evaluating their relevance and applicability in our projects and services. Promote the adoption of new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and innovation.Partnership Management: Identify and establish strategic relationships with technology partners, suppliers and customers. Collaborate in the creation of alliances and consortiums that drive the development of joint innovation projects and support the growth of the Lab.Collaboration in funding applications: provide technical support in the presentation of national and European grant and funding applications focused on R&D, such as CDTI, PERTE, Horizonte Europa, etc.Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align technology strategy with business needs.Talent Development: Lead the development and training of the team in technologies and methodologies, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth. Identify and promote talent, as well as attract and retain key external talent.🧩 Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics. PhD degree essential. 🎓Solid previous experience in technical leadership and project management in Data Science, ML & AI domain, preferably in IT consulting and enterprise environment.Previous experience in participation in the application and justification of projects in national and European funding lines, such as Horizonte Europa.In-depth knowledge of data technologies and tools, such as relational and non-relational databases, big data, predictive analytics, machine learning, etc.Advanced leadership, communication and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary technical teams.Strategic orientation and ability to translate technological vision into concrete actions and measurable results.Good relationship management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with partners and customers.High level of English.
