Regulatory Digital Product Owner (Director level) Location – Barcelona, Spain Introduction to Role.
Join our dynamic Regulatory Digital team within the Oncology R&D department at AstraZeneca.
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Digital Product Owner to craft the future of our digital products, ensuring they align with our business goals and deliver exceptional value to our users.
This role requires a deep understanding of digital product management, a knack for simply translating business needs into technical requirements, and an unwavering dedication to continuous improvement.
As a Regulatory Digital Product Director, you will work collaboratively with business partners and IT to drive the delivery and development of digital solutions aligned to R&D transformation priorities.
Accountabilities.
You will be responsible for developing a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the business' overall objectives.
You will engage with partners across the organization to gather insights and feedback, ensuring the product roadmap reflects business priorities and user needs.
You will translate business priorities into technical requirements, and You will also oversee the product development lifecycle, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that deliver intended value.
Essential Skills/Experience.
Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business, or similar subject area relevant to the role.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a digital product development environment.
Demonstrated ability in using AI and GenAI to drive business value.
Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a track record of successfully delivering digital products.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience.
An advanced degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and/or experience of Regulatory processes and data including data standards and MDM, RDM is a plus.
