Leitat develops R+D+i projects for companies and institutions, and leads research projects with competitive funding both within the framework of the European Union and the Ministry of Science and Innovation.We are looking for a motivated candidate to incorporate as RESEARCHER POWER ELECTRONICS ENERGY STORAGE:Position Overview:As a Researcher in our energy storage group, you will be involved in hands-on research and development focused on battery cell preparation and testing. You will also have the chance to contribute to European and local industrial projects, collaborating with various international and national partners to drive innovation in energy storage solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a cuttingedge field, working closely with experienced scientists on a variety of projects.Key responsibilities:Support in the design and integration of energy storage systems and related components at the system level.Assist in analyzing battery test results and refining designAssist implementing digital tools and methodologies for system analysis and optimizationParticipate in European and local industrial projects, contributing to the development and implementation of advanced energy storage technologies.Support technical deliverables and documentation for ongoing projects.Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including internal colleagues and external partnersQualification:Bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Experience or coursework related to battery integration, power management or energy storage systemsCoding skills (e.g., Phyton, C++, or similar) and Knowledge of AI and ML is an advantage.Interest in digitalization and its applications in energy systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills in electrical systems.Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.Languages: Fluent level of Spanish and English, oral and written.What is it like to work at LEITAT?You will be located at the headquarters in Terrassa and will work in an attractive environment, being part of a unique innovation ecosystem with cutting-edge technologies and highly equipped laboratories.
