Moreover, we are present in 80 countries through some 1,500 retail outlets and with more than 3.000 employees.JOB DESCRIPTIONLongchamp launches a new Retail & Wholesale Area Manager position for Spain.We are currently looking for a dedicated and dynamic person to join our team as a Retail & Wholesale Area Manager based in Madrid. Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager Spain, you will own and ensure all our boutiques and retail outlets in Spain adhere to operational policies and best practises, through store visits and consistent execution of audits on site. Utilising store results to drive corrective action planning and work with store management to deliver continual improvements, alongside supporting the Retail Operations Manager with tasks and projects to improve performance of the stores and the business.WHAT YOU WILL DOSales Support and Performance MonitoringReport the Retail Manager in tracking sales performance across assigned stores.Help implement sales strategies aimed at increasing revenue, including monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets.Support store managers in identifying growth opportunities and optimising store-level performance.Team Supervision and DevelopmentProvide support to store managers, including coaching and development to enhance team performance.Assist in organising training programs to ensure store staff are well-versed in product knowledge, luxury service standards, and store operations.Participate in regular store visits to review performance, assist in problem-solving, and foster strong team collaboration.Recruit, hire, and train new employees. Working with RRHH departmentAccount ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale accounts to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.Conduct regular meetings with key accounts to review performance, product selections, and market trends.Act as the main point of contact for all wholesale partners, addressing any concerns, issues, or requests.Operational SupportReport the Retail Manager in overseeing operational aspects, including inventory management, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies.Help stores maintain operational efficiency and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).Support budget management by tracking store expenses and assisting with resource allocation.Reporting and AnalysisCollect and analyse store-level data on sales, customer feedback, and inventory to support the Area Manager in making informed business decisions.Assist in preparing regular performance reports for senior management and proposing recommendations for improvement.Brand Promotion and Marketing SupportCollaborate with store managers to execute brand marketing and promotional activities at the store level.Act as an ambassador for the luxury brand, ensuring that each store represents the brand's values and product craftsmanship.YOUR PROFILEAt least 3 years of experience as an Area Manager or Regional Manager or Store Manager.Based in Madrid (Spain).Studies based on Business Administration, Finance or similar are highly valued.Languages: Spanish & English Proficiency.
