SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT IN SPORTS TRAVEL

Company DescriptionEvents Arena is a B2B travel agency specializing in sports and cultural events. We act as an official distributor or sub-agent for some of the largest European entities, including football clubs, rugby federations, motorsports circuits, tennis tournaments, festivals, concerts, etc. Seats and travel packages are marketed through leading distribution channels, mainly in France and Western Europe. The company is based in Barcelona and is presently in a sustained growth phase since its creation in May 2022. The sales team is made of both young and experienced people, whose main languages are French and English, and is now looking for expansion through the addition of an individual that would fit its corporate values, passion and diligent working environment. Main tasks1) Support in bookings management:Involvement in daily internal reservation processing.Participation in the booking confirmations and invoicing process with partners.After-sales service (queries, modifications, etc.).Collecting customers details (according to product-specific requirements). 2) Monitoring company purchases / distribution channels:Internal updating of ticket and hotel purchase rates.B2B platform: creating new products, applying price updates, updating content.Checking online sales pages and reporting/correcting any issue.3) Creating content for the company's B2B communication:Planning and sending newsletters to be sent to B2B partners.Edition of visual material to be used on B2B channels and platforms.Essential skillsFluent French and English (spoken and written). Basic Spanish is required.Proficiency in key Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, and Excel).Knowledge in editing visual material for communication (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and precision.Initiative, desire to learn and motivation.Punctuality and professionalism.Working conditions40 hours per week.Internship of 4 to 6 months, starting from January 2025.Working hours from 9 am to 6 pm with a 1-hour break.Absences/leaves to be pre-approved internally with management.Office in Poblenou, Barcelona.1 day of remote work per week, after the training is completed.Salary to be discussed individually depending on profile and formation.Get in touch!If you feel like you are the right person for the internship, please send your CV and cover letter to maxime@events-arena.com.
