Security Architect Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to join our Security Architects Team. The candidate must have experience and background on cloud services (Azure and AWS), networking, virtualization, Windows domains, Linux systems and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).  Responsibilities: Cloud Services Management: Manage and administer cloud environments in Azure and AWS. Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, security and cost-effectiveness. Monitor cloud resources and services, ensuring optimal performance and security. Implement security measures to protect the network from threats. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices across all systems and networks. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Support to security incidents and implement corrective measures. Server and Network Administration: Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring. Design, deploy, and manage virtual environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies. Administer Windows domains, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Manage Linux servers, ensuring system integrity, availability, and security. Implement security measures to protect the network from threats and knowledge on network security devices such as Firewalls, IDS and WAF. Containerization and Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker. Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration. Ensure security and compliance of containerized environments. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 7+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role. Strong experience with Windows and Linux server administration. Proven experience managing Azure cloud platforms, AWS is a plus. Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments. Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications (preferred but not required): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Security Engineer (AZ-500) AWS Certified Solution Architect Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
