Senior Back-end Developer If you have professional experience programming with COBOL and strong understanding of Linux systems, this offer interests you.

What will make you succeed in this position? • • 3+ years of experience in COBOL programming • Strong understanding of Linux system > basic commands, Scripts Kornshell, • Experience with Eclipse, working on "vi" • Experience with Oracle DB (Toad / SQL developper) • Experience with Agile development methodologies • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) & HexEditor • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues • Understanding of security and compliance standards • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication skills • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • English speaking/understanding Your mission in the role will be.
• Develop and maintain COBOL applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Perform unit testing and debugging of applications.
• Collaborate with functional analysts to gather and understand requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Maintain and update existing applications as needed.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Work closely with functional analysts and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning.
