SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER

MeetingDoctors, the leading telemedicine company in Spain, is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our innovative team and shape the future of digital healthcare.What You’ll DoAs a Senior Backend Developer, you will:Design and implement scalable, maintainable and robust backend solutions.Design and implement Monitoring and Observability strategies that ensure the continuous health of all deployed solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop APIs and services that integrate seamlessly with our platform.Containerize and streamline development and deployment processes.Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.Contribute to the technical strategy and guide the team on best practices and architectural decisions.What We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in backend development, with expertise in building complex systems.Proficiency in implementing Hexagonal Architecture, DDD, and SOLID principles.Proficiency in Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development.Experience with PHP and the Laravel and Symfony frameworks (or similar).Experience with both relational and non-relational database systems, such as MySQL and MongoDB.Experience with Docker and modern development workflows.Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation.Familiarity with Monitoring and Observability strategies and tools, such as logging, tracing, metrics and automated alerts.Strong problem decomposition and solving skillsA passion for clean, robust code and technical excellence.Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.While not required, experience with the following will be highly valued:Event-driven architectures and Event Sourcing.Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, mainly Terraform.Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm.Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.What We OfferThe opportunity to work with a leader in the telemedicine industry, driving impactful healthcare solutions.A dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters innovation and professional growth.Competitive salary and benefits tailored to your experience.Remote or hybrid work options, providing flexibility to suit your lifestyle.Access to cutting-edge technologies and a culture of continuous learning.Free access to the MeetingDoctors App with 24/7 specialist doctors.About UsAt MeetingDoctors, we connect patients and medical professionals through technology, providing seamless, on-demand healthcare services.
