We are looking for Java Backend Developers that will help our Innovation and Development team in Dev Services fulfill our primary objective to pioneer new products, processes and systems at a company level.
Our team, by leveraging our diverse knowledge and skill sets, ideates and executes improvements implementing tools that impact other teams capacity, delivery time and cost.
We collaborate closely with Player Support, providing them the tools and systems needed for modern user centric communications with our players.
We are looking for a senior-level developer able to build complex, high-scale, real-time systems, with some practical experience, and the drive and enthusiasm to succeed in a demanding and professional team environment.

Your responsibilities will include.

Helping the team to maintain our systems in the cloud.
Build valuable tools to support all departments within Development Services, specially Player Support.
Develop and maintain robust, scalable, reusable, data driven tools.
Working closely with King's internal Java server frameworks.
Deliver high quality and well-structured code.
Share knowledge and help colleagues.

Experience in Java, databases and web development in general.
Experience in cloud computing and services, Google Cloud if possible.
Used to UNIX environments.
No stranger to web protocols, application servers and web servers.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals, design patterns and Object Oriented knowledge.
Design, architect, test and implement features in core services.
Deliver high quality and well-structured code.
Knowledge of concurrency and scalability.
Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Bonus points NoSQL and BigData experience Knowledge of scalable cloud computing infrastructure Familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bash.
Work in an Agile environment, or you are interested in agile development.
