Perfil buscado (Hombre/Mujer)
Develop and maintain Scala-based applications and services.
Handle big data processing using Hadoop and Spark frameworks.
Create high-performance algorithms and predictive models.
Work closely with the Analytics team to identify opportunities for system enhancements.
Ensure data security and privacy compliance.
Conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

A successful Big Data Developer should have
A degree in Computer Science Telecommunitacions or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Scala and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
ETLs.
Experinece working with GCP (BigQuery DataProc Kubernetes) and/or Azure (Databricks Azure Pipelines).
Databases (PostgreSQL BigQuery Azure Data Explorer).
Experience in developing high-performance algorithms and predictive models.
Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Fluency in English is a must (B2-C1). You will join an international team and work in English. (Spanish not need it).
Nice to have
Experience working with Python/PySpark Airflow UNIX Shell Scripting AWS (EMR Presto EKS).
Experience working with Flink.
Experience working with Hortonworks/Cloudera.
Very valuable to have experience working in Tier1 or Telco companies.
Experiences as a Tech Lead.
