n this job you will be working very closely with our indirect tax compliance customers and technology partners.
You will be supporting complex data solutions that underpin the reporting for Amazon indirect tax.
s a Senior Data Analyst, you will be expected to have solid data management experience, strong skills data querying skills and understanding of tax and accounting principles to support indirect tax compliance teams across the globe.
ey job responsibilities• Support indirect tax colleagues with data requests, data questions and/or extracting data on their behalf, where standard reports do not meet their requirements.• Improve existing processes by automating and reducing manual work.• Collaborate with our technology partners to innovate and maintain complex business and data solutions.• Hands-on detailed data research and analysis of a large financial data sets; investigate, troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.• Implement projects to optimize data operations.• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.• Work with our key technology providers to support technology upgrades, migrations, etc.• Create and maintain dashboards used by tax compliance.
