Role Purpose We're seeking a Freelance Senior Designer who combines creativity with technical expertise, confidently stepping into Art Direction and leading high-quality, collaborative processes.
You will drive the creative process from concept to completion, shaping visually compelling, on-brand digital & print content that resonates with the desired audience.
With your Art Direction skills, you'll take the lead in translating briefs into impactful visual campaigns, mentoring the design team to achieve top-tier execution.
This role has the potential for full-time.
Key Relationships Internal ● Creative Studio Manager.
Regularly report on creative progress, project updates, and strategic direction.
● Content Director.
Collaborate on content creation strategies and ensure alignment with overall agency goals.
● Account Managers.
Work closely to understand client needs, project requirements, and deliverables.
● Content & Product Managers.
Coordinate on production schedules and resource allocation.
● CEO and Managing Director.
Provide creative direction and thought leadership.
External ● Creative Freelancers.
Collaborate with photographers, developers, graphic designers, videographers, and other external collaborators to ensure high-quality and timely creative execution and delivery.
Key Responsibilities Creative & Art Direction.
● Project Leadership.
Lead projects from concept to nal creative, managing timelines, sprints, and delivery to ensure high-quality, on-time outcomes.
● Creative Process Leadership.
Provide creative direction, references, and concepts to inspire fresh ideas and push design boundaries.
Guide the team in rening concepts to deliver polished, impactful work.
High-Quality Visuals.
● Advanced Design Skills.
Use Photoshop for detailed image compositing, retouching, and creating polished, high-impact visuals.
Apply AI tools to streamline creative processes and enhance content quality.
● Speed-to-Market Graphics.
Utilize Canva to develop templates and graphics for rapid deployment, ensuring brand consistency and efficient turnaround.
● Responsive Design.
Ensure designs are visually consistent across devices and incorporate interactive elements to enhance user engagement.
Advertising & Key Graphics.
● Create visuals suited for advertising, ensuring designs are tailored to resonate with target audiences on the platforms they are using.
Brand Development.
● Develop and refine brand identities, including look and feel, color palettes, typography, and design guidelines for print and digital.
Drive Collaboration.
● Lead Cross-Functional Teams.
Coordinate with design, development, and project management to ensure cohesive workflows and high creative standards.
● Project Oversight.
Guide projects from brief to final production, managing timelines and deliverables while coordinating team efforts across multiple projects.
● Mentor and Support.
Offer feedback and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative, high-quality creative environment.
Key Requirements Experience, Knowledge & Skills.
● Experience.
5+ years in graphic design/ art direction, ideally within an agency or similar environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing advertising and brand development work.
● Technical Skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop), and experience with Figma and Canva.
● Art Direction & Team Leadership.
Experience leading design projects and guiding teams to achieve quality results.
● UI/UX Awareness.
Familiarity with UI/UX principles to enhance user-friendly, responsive designs.
● Design AI.
Skilled in using AI tools to improve design efficiency and quality, staying up-to-date with emerging AI applications.

Proven ability to foster team collaboration and drive projects forward from start to finish.
