Senior Front End / Fullstack Developer Are you a skilled Fullstack Developer looking for an exciting opportunity in Barcelona? Join our international cross-functional agile team at Allianz and contribute to the development of the Allianz Product Lab (APL).
APL is a cross-LOB web application that enables the design, specification, and management of insurance products for various markets in a fully digital, reusable, and harmonized way, following ACM (Allianz Customer Model) principles.
It is utilized by all Allianz entities for product specification.
You will.
• Maintain and evolve web applications on the frontend side and Java applications in the backend, including the core engine of the solution.
• Develop automated E2E testing.
• Turn requirements into working, tested software respecting best code practices, including code reviews.
• Maintain software development environment including deployment jobs.
• Support architecture and production teams to organize, document, and oversee development processes, tools, and technical choices.
• Help define, execute, and oversee tests, support development teams during the project delivery phase.
Your Skills and Qualifications.
• University degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar qualification.
• Experience in or willingness to learn object-oriented knowledge representation methods.
• 4+ years of work experience in digital software development and automated testing.
• 3+ years of experience with Angular, Java, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in working in Agile methodologies, with Cloud solutions (AWS or Azure) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, SonarQube, Git).
• Full proficiency in English.
• Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Leadership skills and knowledge of the insurance business are a plus.
