ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for the functional implementation and support of Air Traffic Control-related systems and services.
You will gather, analyze, and manage requirements from system, regulatory, and operational standpoints.
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the relevant applications and services, you will guide the implementation and operational teams, ensuring that high-quality solutions are delivered to business users on time and within budget.
You will also be deeply involved in the delivery process, coordinating delivery, testing, and support efforts, and may act as a Project Manager when required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Define, manage, and ensure the integrity of the requirement lifecycle, including adherence to regulatory and quality management standards.
Engage with key stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
Serve as a subject matter expert in key ATC systems and services provided by SITA (e.
.
datalink communication, CPDLC).
Support and coordinate system/service integration activities, ensuring that customer requirements are met in terms of quality, coverage, and timelines.
Take on Project Management responsibilities for selected ATC system delivery activities.
Participate in European SESAR R&D projects, contributing functional expertise in datalink communication and related applications.
Bridge the gap between Engineering and Product by translating high level operational requirement into actionable items.
Create and maintain technical documentation ensuring that it aligns with regulatory, quality management, and company standards.
Qualifications ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS A minimum of 5 years of experience in deploying or supporting application software, including implementing systems and modules, with hands-on involvement in multiple full lifecycle implementations Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or an Aviation related field.
Experience or knowledge in Air Traffic Control datalink operations or SESAR-related research projects.
Strong ability to define and manage complex system/service requirements within a regulated ATC environment.
Good understanding of communication networks (e.
.
TCP/IP protocol suites, IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols, IPSec).
Experience in designing and specifying functional and non-functional system/service requirements.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, planning, organization, and creativity in finding solutions to new challenges.
Proficient in English with strong presentation skills, enabling direct coordination with customers and international working groups (e.
., training, system integration, documentation).
Strong skills in technical writing and documentation NICE-TO-HAVE Initial Project Management experience.
Experience in system design and implementation.
