If you have experience and are looking for a leadership role in an innovative and impactful project, this is the perfect fit for you.Position OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Go Backend Developer with a proven track record in production-level applications. As part of our team, you’ll lead the development and architecture of a groundbreaking cybersecurity platform. You’ll be responsible for designing new features, improving security and performance, and mentoring junior developers. This role involves both remote work and regular in-person collaboration in our offices in Madrid or Barcelona.What You’ll Do• Develop, test, and maintain highly scalable and secure Go-based backend applications.• Lead architectural improvements, focusing on microservices and performance optimization.• Ensure best practices for cybersecurity are followed throughout the development process.• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.• Work with various programming languages and technologies depending on the project requirements.What We’re Looking for in a Developer• Strong proficiency in Go with proven experience in production-level applications.• Experience with microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).• Good level on writing Regular Expressions, Restful APIs, and testing methodologies (TDD, BDD...)• Deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices.• Knowledge of AI tools like Copilot or Cursor• Leadership skills with experience mentoring junior developers.Nice-to-Have• Experience with languages like Python, Rust, or JavaScript.• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and frameworks.• Experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.Soft skills• Good level of English, Spanish will also be valued• Ability to communicate well with peers• Capacity to take initiative• Sense of ownership and accountability for driving resultsPerks• Hybrid work environment (remote and regular in-person work in our Madrid or Barcelona offices).• Work on exciting, impactful projects and grow with the company.• A dynamic, innovative team where your contributions are valued.• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Training in cybersecurity, secure programming, and AI tools.
