SENIOR ML ENGINEER

All of this is built on top of Kubernetes in Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.If you are interested in joining one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in Europe and working on massive scalability challenges, this is the place for you.Your ChallengeOur squad develops, trains and deploys the Machine Learning models that provide the signals to be used for the setup and analysis of every ad campaign.Therefore, you are comfortable working in any phase of the lifecycle of a Machine Learning model, but most especially with their deployment, monitoring and automation. You are excited about the idea of deploying recent Machine Learning models while addressing complex requirements such as scalability, fast response time and cost-effectiveness. Moreover, you do not take Machine Learning model-related design choices for granted, but you challenge experienced data scientists and contribute to shaping their solutions in search of technical excellence while addressing business requirements.You will work close to the production environment and hand-to-hand with the team’s Data Scientists, MLOps and Data engineers, getting immediate feedback on your solution. We are committed to using data to continuously monitor and optimize our models and processes to ensure that we are delivering the best possible outcome for our customers.Tech StackWe have to support 120k requests per second running with ML models in production answering within 10 milliseconds! We have this running in production with Python and GoLang microservices using datalakes, GCS, Redis, Kinesis or Kafka. All this is constantly deployed in GCP using Kubernetes and other kinds of production stacks. The current stack outputs 20 TB of daily data having them ready to use for analytics and more with easy and low latency access.In the rest of the company, we also develop in Typescript for Nodejs and Scala making use of technologies like Kafka, Druid and MongoDB all over the Google Cloud Platform.What You’ll Need to SucceedYou (preferentially) have a degree in computer science, engineering or another degree with a strong quantitative component. Preferentially, you have 5+ years of solid experience in the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models, especially in their deployment into production with Docker and Kubernetes, and in their monitoring and automatization with Airflow.Experience in software development, particularly in building and deploying APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI or similar.Proficient in designing scalable, high-performance backend services, integrating machine learning models into production systems, and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless interaction between ML pipelines and applications.You care about producing maintainable code over time using good programming practices. You have experience in testing and with CI/CD tools.You understand the functioning of the main ML algorithms and tools (e.g., Scikit-learn, Tensorflow…), and, you have some experience applying these to real problems.We are an international company, so you must be fluent in English.Nice to have: experience deploying embedding models into production environments, optimizing performance through techniques like model caching, and managing scalable infrastructure for real-time inference.Nice to have: you are not afraid of running data analysis with SQL and Python libraries such as Pandas or Scipy.You are a big-picture thinker who can see the forest and the trees. You have a strong understanding of the technical and business requirements of the projects you work on, and you can think strategically to ensure that your work aligns with the goals of the company. You are a problem solver who loves a good challenge.
