Banking | Technology | Consultancy About Our Client Our client, a leading global financial institution, is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their Agile Release Train (ART) focused on e-banking solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA professional to work in a cutting-edge technology environment, ensuring the quality and reliability of critical banking applications.
If you have strong test automation skills and experience in Agile teams, this role will allow you to take ownership of quality assurance in a high-impact project.
Key Responsibilities ? ? Act as an embedded QA Automation Engineer within an Agile team.
? ? Drive all quality-related aspects within the team to ensure software reliability.
? ? Design and execute test cases to cover all functional requirements.
? ? Identify test scenarios for automation and implement them using the Cucumber/Selenium Framework (including RESTAssured & Appium).
? ? Perform automated testing at UI and API levels for both mobile and desktop platforms.
? ? Conduct manual testing when needed, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
? ? Create and manage test data for effective test execution.
? ? Maintain and update regression test suites to ensure continuous software quality.
? ? Manage defect tracking and coordinate with development teams for quick resolution.
? ? Continuously improve testing methodologies, aligning with the Global Test Strategy.
Candidate Profile ? Experience.
? Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer in Agile development teams.
? Strong background in test automation for mobile and desktop applications.
? Hands-on experience with Cucumber/Selenium, RESTAssured, and Appium in a Java environment.
? Expertise in test case design (TCD) to ensure full coverage of acceptance criteria.
? Experience in risk-based testing and exploratory testing.
? Ability to perform manual testing when required.
? Good knowledge of JIRA (XRAY experience is a plus).
? Experience with SQL and ability to explore databases to retrieve relevant test data.
? Previous experience with e-banking solutions is a strong advantage.
? Education & Certifications.
? BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
? ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
