We write a lot of tests.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring exceptional performance in every release.Diagnose and resolve performance issues to ensure our applications run flawlessly, even under high demand.Maintain code quality and organization by implementing best practices and design patterns that facilitate collaboration and team growth.Integrate third-party APIs and ensure seamless connectivity with our backend systems, expanding our capabilities and enhancing the user experience.All in all, you’ll be a busy bee. But don’t worry, there’s always time to have a long walk on the beach or share a good barista coffee with your colleagues and have fun while doing your best!What we expect from you3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and writing optimized queries (preloading of course and SQL when necessary).Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS (tailwind), JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus – we are a Vue.js house!Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment (AWS and Docker). We are moving to a full Docker deploy.Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication skills in English and ability to work in a collaborative environment.Nice to haveExperience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). We are agile but use a variation of scrumban.Experience with background job processing frameworks (Sidekiq, Resque, SQS).Knowledge of DevOps tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
